It's finished. The quilt for my cousin's daughter who turned 6 yesterday. The biggest quilt I have made to date.
Mum did all of the quilting while I helped wrangle the bulk through the machine. Thanks Mum x
I used a 2.4m wide fabric from my local quilt shop on the back.
This binding fabric was a remnant piece I got from Spotlight ages ago. Matched perfectly.
I took it over to my cousin yesterday and put it on Miss T's bed ready for when she got home from school. I got a message last night saying that she loves it.
I'm linking up with Laura from Quokka Quilts for TGIFF.
Oh Waverlee...now that would have just been such an amazing bed to come home to. You have done a beautiful job with fabric selection and pattern. I love that binding a lot.
ReplyDeletebeautiful, perfect for a little girl, although I suppose 6 is a big girl to her.
ReplyDeleteMiss T is very lucky! Great job, Waverlee. Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Waverlee. Love your choice of colours and the pattern.
