Drawstring Quilt

A few weeks ago I finished this drawstring quilt. Made using a pattern by the wonderful Jodi at Tickle and Hide. You can purchase the pattern in her etsy store.

I used a jelly roll from my stash for the top, binding and drawstring. As it turns into a bag when drawn up, I used this gorgeous Amy Butler print for the back. It's called Berry Floral Couture and it's from her Lark range. The drawstring pocket fabric is Tumble Roses from her Love range.

These quilts are just fantastic for mum's with bubs. You can take it anywhere, perhaps with toys inside, and lay it out for bub to lay or play on. I wish I had one when Master 2 was little!

This quilt is for sale here on my Facebook page.

  1. This looks lovely! I love that it becomes a bag when it's pulled together. Maybe I need to make one for all that Lego my kids have!
