Sunday Stash # 11

I haven't had much to report the last few weeks re fabric purchases. I have been broke good.

I noticed that Spotlight had a new range of pirate fabric, and it was on sale. You may already know that I'm stashing pirate fabric for a quilt for Master 2. I had some dollars left over on a gift card that I got for my birthday from my sister so I used it to get some.

Pirate fabric stash so far

Yesterday I purchased this Side Braid quilt pattern from Jeni at In Color Order. I had been admiring it just last week and then I saw her Weekend Sale blog post. 15% off all her patterns until Sunday. I think it will be the perfect pattern to use my Sugar & Spice fat quarter stash with.

Next weeks Sunday Stash could be interesting. My local quilt shop, Finch's Nest, is having their big 30% off everything sale again (and 50% of selected fabrics) starting on Monday and going for three weeks. And I have a gift voucher :)

Linking up with Fiona at Finding Fifth.

  1. Ooh those pirate fabrics are cute! Any thoughts on what pattern quilt you'll make with them?

Love love love the idea of Sugar and Spice in the Side Braid pattern - that'd be so pretty!

  2. That pirate stash is growing. I shall keep my eye out for more if I see some in my travels. It is good to see what you already have. Also see my comment about the viking fabric world map under your comment today on SS#34. 'Side Braid' - Rats! I just bought that pattern Waverlee...I seem to miss about half of the sales. I used her pattern as inspiration for my Katie Jump Kites quilt back and thought I should buy the pattern to be fair. Now that SALE coming up sounds awesome. Wish I had a LQS.
